GREAT TOUR GARDA
The first stage of the Classic tour is not passable
The Strada del Ponale, whose sloping line, which cuts through the side of the mountain, is clearly visible from Lake Garda, will be closed for maintenance from September 28, 2020, until March, 2021.
The first stage of the Great Tour of Garda (Classic) will therefore be impracticable.
The alternatives will be:
- Opt for the more demanding Rock version, from Riva to Pregasina
- Skip the first stage, avoiding it or travelling by public transport
